DURING YOUR CLEANING

Getting Ready For Your Cleaning: Text

If it has not already been addressed, you will want to advise our technician of any special concerns that you have. When tackling spots and stains, be sure to let us know if you know the source of the spot, as this greatly increases the chance of us being able to remove.
Please remove all important knick-knacks, plants, etc. Large items such as sectional sofas, china cabinets, large TVs, computers, etc., cannot be removed. Please let us know at the time of scheduling if you'll be having beds, dressers, and desks moved so we can allow our technician extra time and provide them with the needed assistance. Moving furniture is an additional charge and you can locate that information under our Carpet Cleaning Packages. Please keep all small children and pets away from our equipment and hoses at the time of cleaning to ensure that they, and our staff, are safe

Getting Ready For Your Cleaning: List

MINIMIZE TRAFFIC ON DAMP CARPETS

It is best to stay off damp carpet as much as possible, both to avoid tracking soil in and to allow the pile to dry in its "up" position.

BE MINDFUL OF SLIP HAZARDS

If you need to walk on the carpet, be very careful walking from the damp carpet onto a hard surface such as tile or linoleum, because your feet will be VERY SLIPPERY. We recommend that you put bath towels down in areas where the carpet meets the tile to dry your feet and remind you to be careful.

WEAR SHOE PROTECTORS

If you walk on the carpet, it is best to wear the shoe protector booties we left for you over your shoes.

NO PETS OR CHILDREN ON CARPETS UNTIL DRIED

Keep pets and children off the carpet until it has dried, for health and safety reasons.

RUN YOUR A/C AND CEILING FANS

The carpet will take 4 to 24 hours to dry, depending upon conditions. We recommend that you run your air conditioner regardless of the outside temperature and that you keep any ceiling fans on until the carpet is dry.

LEAVE FURNITURE BLOCKS FOR 72-HOURS

Plastic squares and Styrofoam blocks found under your furniture should be left in place for 72 hours, as the carpet will take longer to dry in these areas and removing them too soon can allow furniture to permanently stain the carpet.
